Former President Harry S. Truman (right) shakes hands with Mrs. Clyde Kimbrough, wife of the principal civilian Post Engineer at Fort Lewis, Washington. The other woman is unidentified. Mr. Truman was in Seattle, Washington, to attend the Democratic party's annual Jefferson-Jackson Day banquet. Donor: Major General Louis W. Truman.
