Upon arrival in San Francisco, California, after a month's vacation in Hawaii, former President Harry S. Truman, escorted by Captain Hobart J. Ehman (right), walks down the deck of the liner S.S. President Cleveland in preparation for departure from the ship. Behind Mr. Truman, on his right, Bess and Margaret Truman descend a flight of stairs to join him. (See 2002-463 through 469.)
