Former President Harry S. Truman (center) poses for a photo with Mr. and Mrs. Henry Selvitella at the Truman Library. In 1950, Mr. Truman received a plaque from Henry Selvitella, National Commander of the Italian-American War Veterans, awarding the former President a lifetime membership in the organization.
