Description

President Harry S. Truman is surrounded by boys as he visits Girard College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where, as guest of honor, he will attend a centennial of the founding of the College. Girard College was founded by Stephen Girard as a free boarding school for fatherless boys. (See 59-1489-1 thru 32.) From: Todd Jermstad.
