President Harry S. Truman (in light-colored hat) gets into the back seat of a car that will take him to Girard College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where, as guest of honor, he will attend a centennial of the founding of the College. Girard College was founded by Stephen Girard as a free boarding school for fatherless boys. Others in the photo are unidentified. (See 59-1489-1 thru 32.) From: Todd Jermstad.
