Standing in a boxing ring, Randall Jessee (left) and Dr. Vernon Ames (right), President of the Kansas City Golden Gloves Association, hold a plaque dedicating the 1973 Tournament of Champions to the memory of former President Harry S. Truman. Mr. Truman served as Honorary Co-chairman of the Golden Gloves boxing tournaments for over 30 years. The plaque will be presented by the Kansas City Golden Gloves Association to Mrs. Bess Wallace Truman. From: Randall Jessee
