Description
President Harry S. Truman (center of photo) and General Lewis A. Pick (behind the President) inspect Fort Peck Dam, Montana, from a causeway at the top of the dam, during a stopover on the President's trip to the Pacific Northwest. The dam was developed for flood control and irrigation of the Upper Mississippi-Missouri River basin. The others are unidentified.
