Former President Harry S. Truman (second from right) shares a 4-way handclasp with (left to right) Charles S. Rhyne, President, American Bar Association; (Truman); Robert A. Schroeder, President Kansas City Bar Association; and Harry Gershensen, President of the Missouri Bar. They were gathered for a banquet at the Hotel Muehlebach, Kansas City, Missouri, where the former President was awarded an honorary lifetime membership in the Kansas City Bar Association.
