Description

Former President Harry S. Truman (center) clasps the hands of his daughter, Margaret, and her fiancé, New York newspaperman E. Clifton Daniel, Jr., at La Guardia Airport in New York City on March 16, 1956. Mr. Truman arrived for an overnight visit during which he will have a "quiet dinner" with the couple. The wedding is scheduled for April 21st in Independence, Missouri. (See also 77-3779.) This is a 14" x 16" oversize photo mounted on heavy card stock. From: Office of Harry Truman.
