Description

President Harry S. Truman can be seen (in the lower left-hand corner) behind a wrought-iron fence after placing a wreath at the base of the monument to the "Heroes of Chapultepec," in memory of Mexican war dead during his visit to Mexico. He is the first U. S. President to visit Mexico while in office. The other persons are unknown. (See 69-361 and 66-3165.) The original is a 10" x 13" oversize photo mounted on card stock.
