Both arms raised, President Truman blasts the G.O.P. as he delivers his acceptance speech before Democratic National Convention delegates at Convention Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Senator Alben Barkley, nominated for Vice-President, sits behind the President on the left.
