Photograph of a silver platter engraved with the names of members of the Business Advisory Council and a testimonial to Secretary of Commerce Charles Sawyer presented to the Secretary on January 14, 1953, at a testimonial dinner given in his honor at The Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C. The platter reads: "Presented to Charles Sawyer by Members of the Business Advisory Council in recognition of outstanding service to the Government and the Nation as Secretary of Commerce from May 1948 to January 1953 and as a mark of their personal affection and esteem." A printed roster of the Business Advisory Council is included.
