Description
AMERICAN PRESIDENTS: THE MOST POWERFUL MAN ON EARTH 1996. Presented and narrated by Walter Cronkite, in collaboration with the National Archives (NARA), and the Presidential Libraries. Cronkite walks through the evolution of the Presidency from Hoover to Bush and how the office has changed, or not changed. He talks about Truman's Fair Deal program and his desegregation of the Armed Forces. Also discussed in detail, is the Cold War waged by Roosevelt through Bush: from the first atomic bomb to the democratization of Eastern Europe. Used is a combination of newsreels, archival footage and photographs from NARA, and commentary from leading scholars. VHS tape. Also included an interactive CD-rom packet.

SD-quality copies of already digitized motion pictures are available for $20, and HD-quality copies of already digitized motion pictures are $50. Copies of motion pictures not already digitized will incur additional costs.
