Description
OMAR BRADLEY AND D-DAY 6-15-94. A&E Biography. This is the story of General Omar Bradley's career in WWII. Having never seen battle, Bradley leads US forces to victory at Omaha Beach in the Normady Invasion. Post war, President Truman asks Bradley to head the Veterans Administration. Also under Truman, Bradley replaces Eisenhower as Army Chief of Staff during the creation of the new Armed Forces Unification Act and the new Department of Defense. Bradley goes on to lead the US in NATO, under Truman approval. When Truman relieves General MacArthur under advisement from General Bradley, Truman shortly after promotes Bradley to General of the Army, the last to be promoted to a 5th star. VHS tape.
