CAMPAIGN 1996: FUNDING FOR EDUCATION October 3, 1996. NBC News with Tom Brokaw. This news segment was part of an NBC news special series following Highway 40 through America. In the segment featuring Independence, there was filming done at the Truman Library, which was not included in the segment. The segment instead dealt with a visit to an American History classroom in the Independence school system, where issues discussing the funding of education was discussed. There were also interviews with people in the school district who believe that "education is Independence.” VHS videotape.

SD-quality copies of already digitized motion pictures are available for $20, and HD-quality copies of already digitized motion pictures are $50. Copies of motion pictures not already digitized will incur additional costs.
