Recorded in the auditorium of the Truman Library, this is a conversation between three women who knew Bess Truman well. Betty Beal, a social syndicated press writer who covered the first family; Reathel Odum, personal secretary to Bess Truman; Eda Brennan, wife of Charles Brennan and personal friend of Bess Truman. Moderated by Dr. George Curtis and sponsored by the Pioneer's Club/DAR. This conversation reflects Bess's personality and her life within the family before and during the White House years.
