Description
November 17, 2004. PRESIDENTIAL LIBRARIES CONFERENCE. C-SPAN broadcast of comments by ten Presidential Library Directors at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR). The Directors discuss the histories and programs of their institutions. Participants include Timothy Walsh (Hoover Library), Cynthia Koch (Roosevelt Library), Michael Devine (Truman Library), Daniel Holt (Eisenhower Library), Deborah Leff (Kennedy Library), Betty Sue Flowers (Johnson Library), Karl Weissenbach (Nixon Presidential Materials Project), Dennis Daellenbach (Ford Library), Jay Hakes (Carter Library), and Duke Blackwood (Reagan Library). Also included are introductory remarks by Deborah Baldwin, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, UALR; Joel Anderson, Chancellor, UALR; Peggy Scranton, Political Science Professor, UALR; Richard Claypoole, Assistant Archivist for Presidential Libraries; and Nancy Kegan Smith, Presidential Materials Staff Director.
