Description
Berlin Airlift Footage (shown as part of Gail Halvorsen’s presentation on July 14, 2008 at the Truman Library). A short documentary of the Berlin Airlift, compiled by Gail Halvorsen, the Candy Bomber of the 1948-49 Berlin Airlift. It consists of color and black and white footage of the airlift, much of it filmed by Mr. Halvorsen, as well as maps and pictures. The film ends with a 1998 ceremony held at the Berlin airfield to commemorate the Airlift. (Original 8mm film is in the custody of Mr. Halvorsen). DVD (3 copies)

SD-quality copies of already digitized motion pictures are available for $20, and HD-quality copies of already digitized motion pictures are $50. Copies of motion pictures not already digitized will incur additional costs.
