Forum held at the Gem Theater in Kansas City, Missouri on July 27, 2006. The subject of the discussion, “President Truman and Civil Rights.” Participating were: Kenneth Hechler, Special Assistant to President Harry S. Truman; Juanita Moore, Civil Rights Museum; Gerald Early, Professor at Washington University; R. Crosby Kemper, Chief Executive, Kansas City Public Library; and Carol Anderson, Professor University of Missouri, Columbia.
