40TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE SIGNING OF MEDICARE AND MEDICAID LEGISLATION July 28, 2005 Opens with six minute film of explanation and history of the signing of the legislation at the Truman Presidential Library. Film features footage of the Library, President Truman, President Lyndon Johnson, Vice President Hubert Humphrey. This film is repeated in the ceremony shown in Washington, D. C. Included is footage of President George W. Bush signing the Medicare Prescription legislation. The entire 40th anniversary commemoration in Washington, D. C. follows. VHS Tape
