Reel 1

0:00   Harry S. Truman discusses his rationale for having the Nuremberg Trials for World War II crimes against humanity. He wanted it “down in black and white” so it would be impossible for anyone to say it was propaganda or “just a pack of lies.” The evidence would be available for future generations. This was probably used in preparation for MP80-3, “Execution Without Trial.”
