During negotiations, Winston Churchill made the statement that the Pope would be disgruntled if Poland didn't have free government. Premier Stalin leaned over and asked, how many divisions has the Pope? That was where we learned it was important we be stronger than the eastern block. NATO has kept peace in Europe. |
