Shot List

    Reel 1
0:00 Harry S. Truman at a desk, speaking of running for election in 1948. He mentions Thomas Dewey, the Republican candidate, and says that everyone – Russia and Berlin -- was waiting to see what would happen. Mr. Truman says he made up his mind he would stay for a second term. This was probably used in preparation for MP80-2, "City Under Siege."
