Shot List

    Reel 1
0:00 Harry S. Truman, seated at desk, reads from a script and responds to off-camera directions. Clipboard appears, scene 312, take 1. Mr. Truman is speaking about the 1948 Republican convention, which nominated Thomas Dewey, being held at the same time as the Berlin Blockade. Mr. Truman responds to off-camera direction by saying he'll do the scene over again, he doesn't mind (followed by big grin). This is a pleasant, informal exchange of comments with the director. This was probably used in preparation of MP80-2, "City Under Siege."
