There is some banter at this point between Mr. Gradus and Mr. Truman, with Mr. Gradus asking him to read narration about power on the farms, and Mr. Truman joking about outdoor toilets. Harry S. Truman reads narration that lobbyists tried everything they could to kill his plan for the farmer. Unidentified voice says “3709.” This was probably used in preparing MP81-16, “Where Tillage Begins.” | |
