Description

A French map titled "Carte Taride, No. 6 bis, Lorraine, Basse-Alsace, Vosges." The map, numbered 6 in a series with English translations, shows transportation routes in northeast France. Annotations, in red pencil, indicate allied movement from Exermont through Charpentry, Very, Cheppy, Neuvilly, Sommedieue, among others. Several other areas highlighted include Verdun, Saint Mihiel, Commercy, Toul, Nancy, and Metz. Handwriting at the top of the map reads: "Belfort" and "Besancon."
