Description

A French map that is overprinted to show trench systems and battery activity. The map is annotated to show the lines of advance of American forces during the Meuse-Argonne Offensive. Also shown are phase lines, army and corps objective lines, regimental limit lines, the "Axis of Liaison" line, and the 35th Division headquarters. Handwriting, near the bottom right corner, reads: "G3, File 13503.01." On the back is a partially illegible stamp with the date "April 16, 1948." Handwriting on the back reads: "File 13503.01. Map 1 of 1."
