The map shows rural free postal delivery routes, post offices, roads, section lines, railroads, houses, property owner names, schools, churches, rivers, and streams. Handwriting and markings on the front indicate proposed changes to postal routes. This handwriting reads: "Retrace to be eliminated," "Loop or portion of route to be transferred to Jane, MO," and "5 miles thru timber and hills with 1 box." A stamp on the back reads: "Postmaster's Copy: For official use only." Handwriting on the back reads: "53" and "Papers of Senator Harry S. Truman. Folder: Noel-McDonald County-7th District.
