Description

A map of Missouri that details "a proposed plan to be submitted to the Missouri State Highway Commission and national defense authorities for improving and marking a route as Highway No. 165 from a junction with U.S. No. 65 at Springfield, Missouri to a junction with U.S. No. 65 at Waverly, Missouri." Handwriting on the front reads: "50." A stamp on the back reads: "Received, July 2, 1941, Highway Transport." Handwriting on the back reads: "Senatorial Papers of H.S. Truman. National Defense-Roads in Missouri."
