Description

Portions of two British maps glued together with English and Russian annotations. The map of the area near Magdeburg, Germany shows transportation systems, boundaries, rivers, canals, bridges, marshes, vineyards, woods, churches, lighthouses, dams, and other details. The annotated section of this map is titled "XIII United States Corps: Situation as of 1800 B, 24 April 1945." Annotations include boundary lines, front lines, and the positions and headquarters of the XIII Corps and the 29th, 35th, 84th, and 102nd infantry divisions. The names of the Major Generals of each unit are also included.
