An American map titled "Newsmap for the Armed Forces: Monday, July 24, 1944." The map of the Normandy front shows railroads, roads, rivers, forests, and other details. The map of New Guinea and adjacent areas shows rivers, relief, boundaries, and areas under Allied and Japanese control. The map of the Eastern front shows railroads, rivers, international boundaries in and after 1939, the battle line as of June 23, 1944, and the current battle line. Printed text reveals news on multiple fronts. Printed text and photographs on the back describe the Allied victory at Saipan.
