Description

An American map titled "Newsmap, Monday, February 7, 1944." The map of the Burma front shows railways, international boundaries, roads, and the points of Allied attack. The map of the Marshall Islands shows each island, including Kwajalein, and provides distances from the Islands to Pearl Harbor, Makin, Tarawa, Rabaul, Truk, and the Wake Islands. Printed text and photographs reveal news on multiple fronts. Printed text and drawings on the back detail various Japanese Army uniforms and equipment.
