An American map titled "Newsmap, Monday, November 15, 1943." The map of the Eastern front shows railways, rivers, marshes, political boundaries, the approximate battle line, and the directions of Soviet advance near the Dnepr River. The map of Italy shows roads, rivers, and Allied advances along the Tyrrhenian and Adriatic coasts. The map of New Britain shows roads, docks, airfields, missions, and other details. This map includes an inset of the broader area and highlights locations under Japanese control. Printed text and photographs reveal news on multiple fronts. Printed text and drawings on the back describe several United States Army ribbons, decorations, and awards.
