Description

A map titled "Pocket Map of Greater Kansas City." The map shows highways, railroads, public transportation lines, streets, boulevards, parkways, main routes of travel, schools, hospitals, police stations, points of interest, parks, county lines, city limits, state lines, and other details. An index, along the left side, locates streets and schools. Though the map is undated, it can be placed sometime between 1949, because Truman Road is on the map, and 1956, because of the location of William Chrisman High School. The cover book to this map is glued to the back. Donated by Albert Schoenberg.
