Description

An American map, compiled from French and British maps, of the area near Poitiers, France. The map, labeled 8L in a series, shows detailed information on the contour of land, transportation routes, boundaries, wireless stations, forts, lighthouses, high tension cables, transmission lines and stations, churches, windmills, windpumps, watermills, orchards, vineyards, mines, quarries, and other areas of interest. There are several charts including a French to English glossary. The map, which is located on the back of M1144, has the word "cancelled" printed across it.
