Description

French map titled "Verdun A." The map, numbered 199 in a series, shows the advancement of French trenches and systems as of August 12, 1918. Pencil markings on the top portion of the map may refer to battery positions. An attached note reads: "Contributed by George M. Hagee, St. Louis, Missouri." Donated by George M. Hagee.
