Description

Camp D'Arches, Cantonnement de Pouxeux. Additional sheet attached describes maps related to Munster. The additional sheet states: "1. Map of Munster 1-20000, showing sector held by 140th infantry in the Vosges Mountains. This sector was held from July 16 to September 1, 1918. Regimental headquarters were at Larshey. Regimental observation post at Klinzkopf. Battalion headquarters at Degglbert, Colette and Garibaldi. 2. Tracings made from original map. 3. Sengern map 1-50000 showing the Colette sector with the various company command posts and the scheme of protection." Donated by Ralph E. Truman.
