The collection contains correspondence between Robert Rodes and U.S. Senators regarding treaty violations and the trade situation in Morocco. Reports and memoranda detail the background of treaty violations restricting U.S. trade with Morocco.
The collection contains legal documents relating to the case in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia filed by Robert Rodes as President of the American Trade Association of Morocco against Dean Acheson in 1949-1950. The case revolved around trade treaties between the United States and Morocco and Acheson's assent to alleged violations of those treaties.
Among the printed materials is "The Real Ruler of Morocco," written by Rodes's wife, Marjorie Rodes, which condemns the exile of His Majesty Mohammed V, and "The United States and the French-Moroccan Problem: 'The Other Side.'"
