FURTHER AMENDING EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 9154 OF MAY 1, 1942, AUTHORIZING CERTAIN EXCLUSIONS FROM THE OPERATION OF THE CIVIL SERVICE RETIREMENT ACT OF MAY 29, 1930, AS AMENDED
By virtue of and pursuant to the authority vested in me by section 3(b) of the Civil Service Retirement Act of May 29, 1930, 46 Stat. 470, as amended, and in the interest of the internal management of the Government, section 1 of Executive Order No. 9154 of May 1, 1942, (1) as amended by Executive Order No. 9824 of January 28, 1947, (2) is hereby further amended by the addition thereto of a new paragraph (1) reading as follows:
(1) Employees serving under emergency-indefinite appointments not exceeding 5 years.
