SUSPENSION OF PROFESSIONAL EXAMINATIONS FOR PROMOTION OF MEDICAL, DENTAL, AND VETERINARY OFFICES IN THE REGULAR ARMY AND AIR FORCE
By virtue of the authority vested in me by section 507 (b) of the Officer Personnel Act of 1947 (61 Stat. 893), it is hereby ordered as follows:
The operation of all provisions of law requiring professional examinations for promotion in the Regular Army of officers of the Medical, Dental, and Veterinary Corps, and in the United States Air Force of officers designated as medical, dental, and veterinary officers thereof, are hereby suspended for the duration of the national emergency proclaimed by Proclamation No. 2914 of December 16, 1950. 1
