We are proud to be a Blue Star Museum again this summer! Between Armed Forces Day, May 17, through Labor Day, September 1, we will offer free admission to the nation’s active-duty military personnel and their families, including National Guard and Reserve.

"Jazz KC Portraits" will showcase stunning photographs by Dan White of iconic jazz musicians who have shaped the rich cultural tapestry of the city. Through these images, visitors will embark on a visual and aural journey, exploring the rhythm, soul, and passion that define the essence of Kansas City Jazz.

Admission

Admission to the Truman Library and Museum costs:

  • $12 for adults
  • $10 for seniors 62 and older
  • $10 Veterans / Mil. retired-disabled
  • $8 College Students (with i.d.)
  • $5 Youth 13-18
  • Free for children ages 12 and under
  • There is no admission to enter the Museum Store
  • The Museum is closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
  • in 2024, the museum is also closed on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.
