Choose one Cabinet department to present to your peers. The presentation may be a poster, well-designed overheads, PowerPoint or Hyper-Studio show, or a backboard. You will orally share this presentation, so each member should have a part to report.
Your group presentation should include the following information:
- a Mission Statement of the Department
- a list of at least 10 things affecting our daily lives that this department would handle
- find a current news release and a summarize its focus
- a list of the sub-organizations under this department
- each group member will find one job opening listed for this executive department and make a list of the qualifications and salary
- find out who is the current secretary and include a brief summary of his/her biography
Your group presentation should meet the following criteria:
- It should contain all the required information listed above.
- Be sure your information is accurate.
- Design a way to present the information that is both useful and visually appealing.
- Be careful to write information in your own words when requested to do so.
- Each group member should carry his or her load of the responsibilities.
