The President and Mrs. Truman attended the baseball game at Griffith Stadium. Mr. Charles Murphy also accompanied the President.

(The President, accompanied by Mr. Connelly, went to the Capitol where he had luncheon in Honorable Leslie Biffle's office with leaders of the House and Senate. Following the luncheon the President paid a surprise visit to the floor of the Senate.)
