The President wrote to Mr. Williams in July re a letter Mr. Williams had written to the paper "Rocky Mountain News" and which Mrs. Roosevelt had liked and quoted in her daily column. In thanking the President for writing him, Mr. Williams asked if he might venture to hope that he might have chance to meet the President when in Washington at this time. The President wrote him to let Mr. Connelly know and that he would be happy to see him.)

The President received a group of British, French and Canadian Exchange Teachers. (This group includes, besides the teachers, the Ambassadors or their representatives, representatives from State Department, Federal Security Agency, American Red Cross, American University, where the teachers will stay. This arranged at request of Federal Security Administrator. Under Teacher Exchange Program an equal number of American teachers take their place abroad.
