A photograph of an unidentified man inscribed to Dillard Lasseter, Administrator of the Farm Security Administration. The inscription reads: "To Dillard Lasseter, whose spontaneity and sense of justice always work in perfect unison. Dec. 1946 [name illegible.]"

Color photograph of portrait of Harry S. Truman mounted on artboard and done in colored oils by an artist on the staff of Leo Stern, photographer. The photo shows the upper half of a seated and smiling President. The lower right corner is signed in white oil paint: "Leo Stern, K.C.MO". In April, 1953, Leo Stern took a series of 18 black-and-white portraits of the former President, one of which is the basis for this portrait.
