President Harry S. Truman waves to the crowd lining a street in downtown Kansas City, Missouri, as he rides in an open-top limousine at the head of a long procession of 35th Division veterans, flanked by his old comrades of Battery "D", in a reunion parade. Carrying the Battery "D" flag is Frank Spina, Truman's barber and fellow soldier. From: Conrad Smith (from album that had belonged to Francis Yeager, Battery "D")
